When I was growing up, my bookshelf was overflowing with books. You’d see a smattering of The Babysitter’s Club and Sweet Valley High paperbacks mixed with Stephen King’s The Stand in hardcover, a copy of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, along with some Beverly Hills, 90210 photo books thrown in for good measure. I was a reader and I’d throw myself into books no matter what they were.
To have a book out is pretty much blowing my mind and it’s been incredible to actually touch it and have it sit on my current bookshelf next to my favorites. (Oh, and do I still have a few of the above mentioned literary gems…you betcha!) It’s been an emotional and fulfilling ride and I couldn’t be more grateful to you guys who have been by my side this whole time.
