Day 330. 35 days and $38 left to go.

Because I had been told that today was going to bring a little more rain, I wanted something warm and cozy.  Just looking at this you wouldn't perhaps think it right away, but friends...think very soft flannel!!  Just what I want to snuggle up with on the couch while watching football :) Day 330 - Before

Little side note...me and flannel sheets?  Two peas in a pod!

My main problem was the collar.  It was too much business going on around that neckline so I began to remove it with my seam rippers.

Collar? Not so much!

With it completely gone...

Collar: Removed!!

...I started repinning the fabric that was on each side of the collar.

Reattach the neckline!

After it was pinned, I got to removing the single waist sash that was there...

One sash?

(I know, totally random right!!  I tried looking for a hole or space where the other one could have been located in its previous life but I was without any luck!!)

And it's gone...

Before I got the sewing machine out, I had to tackle the last change on the dress...the length.

Go shorty, it's your birthday!

I trimmed off a good eight inches and got it ready to hem.

Hem it out!

The flannel-y outcome??  Warm and perfect for an overcast day.

Day 330 - After

Also warm and perfect for an overcast day?  Trader Joe's Pumpkin Pancake/Waffle Mix (literally AMAZING if you're a pumpkin fan...sprinkle a little cinnamon on top, a little bit of maple syrup and some whipped cream...oh joy!), a Pacifico, and a new dress.
