I got this beige-ish dress from Carine - she sent a little package my way with this silk frock in it that is a Liz Claiborne creation circa 1990, perhaps?

The shoulder pads came out first...
...that were a lovely rectangle shape!
I played around with the dress and turned it around!! It was a bit big, but instead of taking it in I just cinched it at the waist with a thick black belt. I didn't plan to not have to get the sewing machine out today, but I was happy!!
The back of the dress was perfect with the buttons going down it that I felt it had to be shown in the front. I rolled the sleeves up, paired it with black boots and had my outfit ready to go.
