It's the lovely silver glitter dress making a second appearance!!
I crafted this lovely piece from the skirt of the dress on Day 158...
...and now am working with the top piece today!!
I removed the shoulder pads first...
They were a bit lumpy and just needed to come out!
I'm using the back of the piece as the front for my soon-to-be-jacket, so I began to snip off the little button loops that lined the seam.
After trimming the loops, the zipper came next. There was about four inches of zipper leftover at the bottom of the piece, so I meticulously cut on both sides of the garment to get it off!
Literally just a few snippy steps to finish my jacket!
There was a leftover hook and eye on the piece so I tested it out...
I'm feeling the open look! I'm going to re-wear this jacket over the weekend - during the day - to get some better shots! My wonky flash was going crazy tonight!
