My power has been out since this morning and unfortunately my sewing machine doesn't have a back up generator.
LADWP said that everything would be back up by 3pm, but after calls to them at 3:45, 4:30, 5:30, 6, and finally at 7:30 with no updates to be shared (they literally said to me "we don't know what's wrong" and "we don't get much information from the teams on the field"), I scooted over to the Starbucks to power up the phone and computer and post this lovely update.
The day of sewing I had planned turned into a day of cleaning, so it wasn’t a total fail, however I’m without a lovely outfit post to share today. It’s going to be candle city for me tonight! Tomorrow, fingers crossed, we'll be up and running!
