I was shopping at DI looking for a dress I had seen a few days prior when this blue little number caught my eye. It was a little pricey, $8, I know... but I splurged ;) I always love repurposing things that have pleats already in them since I hate sewing and pressing pleats!
It feels like a graduation gown-dress!! I wonder what Miss Lizzy will do...
I decided the bottom of the dress would make an adorable maxi skirt! I cut off the top, added 3/4" elastic for the waistband, and voila!
