Happy rainy Friday from LA!! It's been such a treat getting this fall-ish weather, however my allergies/weird congestion has been keeping me drinking tea and taking lots of vitamins. I've been sewing and prepping outfits for this weekend's Unique LA event, (as well as outfits for next week's SD craft/signing night & SF afternoon soiree - click to RSVP)...
where I'll be running the DIY Den making ribbon headbands (as well as having books on hand to sign)!! I'll do a tutorial next week for everyone here on the site - they're awesome for gifts for the gals!
I'm excited to be a part of this because it's the biggest independent design show in the country with over 350 artists/designers selling their handmade wares. Handmade gifts for the holidays for everyone! For those SoCal-ers in town this weekend and wanting to beat the rain, totally head downtown to the Cal Mart. It's $10 to enter, but you get a tote bag and a portion of the proceeds benefits the non-profit, Inner-City Arts. The DIY is free (!!) and there are tons of sponsored bevvies, a photo booth to take pics in, on top of the awesome tables of goodies being sold.
