I'm finally on the mend, y'all!! Thank you SO much for all your cold remedies. They were fully incorporated into my daily schedule of couching and nose blowing. The steam, the whiskey (!!), the salt water gargling, and the other tricks were so helpful and I can't wait to have them on my go-to list next time I feel a bug coming on.
My first day out of the house, we went on our holiday lights tour '12, featuring the homes in McAdenville, NC!
Since my iPhone pics were less that stellar (we were in the car the whole time...), I decided to borrow from a legit source to really capture the holiday essence. Time Magazine.
I loved that the whole town was involved, but the best part was watching all of the kids who were hanging out of their car's sunroofs yelling "happy holidays" as their parents were driving through. It's a quaint two lane street, so all of us in vehicles were becoming fast friends with each other!
Now that the sniffles and aches and pains are beginning to be less annoying, I'm looking forward to some fun, family-filled days on the horizon. I'm totally wearing this piece tomorrow...
