Monday Giveaway!

How was everybody's weekend?  I must say that the Super Bowl is one of my favorite times of the year.  The game part is fun, but the rest of the shenanigans (the food/the catching up with friends/the commersh discussion/the halftime action) is what makes this winter Sunday a real blast. Even though my Jets were FAR from making it anywhere near New Orleans this year, I did find a fab vintage T that would come in handy.

A 1988 49ers T is what was my uniform today!  I found this wonder at the flea market and honestly, it's the softest T I own.  (Probably since it's been washed time and time again over the past 25 years!!)  The Niners are easy to root for (they are a California team and CA is my home...), but it was really the shirt factor that sealed the deal.

Well we all know what happened...and this T really didn't bring any of the '88 luck for the Niners, however the rest of the SB festivities were on point from the ridiculous pizza from Lucifers...

...to the halftime show, where I was most definitely dancing to Destiny's Child.

The spread was stacked for everyone - lots of alcoholic bevvies, non-alcoholic bevvies, and limes...

What did you guys do for the Super Bowl?  Any fun recipes/traditions?  What commercials were your faves?  Anyone partake in a pool and win goodies?  Or, who didn't even care about it and do something awesome instead?  I'm giving away this lovely necklace modeled by the fab AK...
