This is up there on my Judd Apatow favorites list.

Kristin Wiig as an E! employee? I mean...

A quick trip over to da club in Hollywood to see just where Katherine Heigl and Leslie Mann were denied entry.

I'd be stoked if Craig Robinson was the doorman...

This costume is quite easy to create!

To dress like Katherine Heigl, grab a yellow halter/shirt, a blonde wig, and a pillow for the belly (or if you're really preggo, pillow not needed!). That's it!

I couldn't wait to get costumed!

Pillow in and I'm ready to shoot!

I shot during the day to avoid having the same situation happen to me!

Who knew I'd be so comfortable with this belly??

I used a beaded shirt from my closet and layered it with a bigger tank underneath to make it look flowy like Katherine's piece.

When you don't get into the club...

...you hang on the curb in Hollywood.

Halloween Location Looks: Day 18 of 31 - Anchorman

My month of DIY costumes shot in front of the actual shooting locations continues!! Day 18 is here and I'm craving a little bit of scotch. Today’s costume comes from:

Oh, Ron Burgundy...

They shot the famous zoo scene...

...at the old LA zoo that still sits in Griffith Park.

It's amazing that even after it closed back in 1966, it still feels rather kept up. I mean there aren't any animals there anymore, but all the cages are still intact.

The easy way to craft an Anchorman costume would be to dress up like Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) but I went the other route. It's all about a Ron Burgundy costume today!

To complete the entire Ron Burgundy costume from Anchorman, here are the main elements you'll need:

1. Suit/pants combo (Mine was thrifted - scope out the thrift store for a pants/blazer combo on the cheap!)

2. Wig. (My glorious wig is c/o Party City!)

3. Mustache (This fab mustache is c/o Party City)

4. Microphones (These fab ones are from etsy!)

The entrance to the Old LA Zoo is spectacular.

...right in the area that I'm standing! Even the old cages are still there!

Reporting live from the zoo!

There were no animals to be found on my visit.

Luckily, because I wouldn't know what to do if there happened to be a hidden bear around the corner.

My month of DIY costumes shot in front of the actual shooting locations continues!! Day 17 is here and it's from a show that I pretty much live for when it comes to the wardrobe. Today’s costume comes from:

Joan Holloway is the coolest.

Her wardrobe is to die for and she's just one of the guys...kinda...on the show.

Don Draper's house TV house happens to be located in Pasadena...

...so I felt that a visit there, wearing my Joan costume needed to happen.

To complete the entire Joan Holloway costume from Mad Men, think vintage and grab a 60s shift dress. Her pen necklace works as the perfect accessory as well. (Check this easy DIY on how to make one of those!)

Time to visit Don's house!

I put on my dress, some red lips, and began to pose.

This costume never gets old!

I can be the entire neighborhood watch!
