Hi, I'm Anna Katherine, a 12 year-old girl who loves to sew. I just found your blog a few weeks ago and I have been enjoying reading it since. During a trip to Goodwill with my mom and sister, I found a shirt that was really ugly, but after being inspired by you, I saw a potential for it. It was pretty expensive for Goodwill ($4.25) but I bought it anyways. I even heard later on that my mom whispered to my sister, "What in the world is she gonna do with that?"
What in the world is she going to do with it? Any ideas...
The minute I got home, I got out my sewing machine and started working. I cut out the collar and then began to sew a V neckline. I flipped the shirt around next, sewed up where the buttons were, and voila!
I love this!! It went from a crazy button down, to boho chic with that belt!! Miss AK, you totally made me proud! Can't wait to see your next remake!!
